With easy trails for the casual walker and challenging ones for the avid trekker, a guided jungle trek is the best way to connect with Mother Nature. The experience is made even more rewarding with one of our gourmet picnic hampers to enjoy on the beach after the trek!

While motorbikes are a convenient way to zip around the islands 25 km of roadways, bicycles are far more in tune with the islands easy pace of life. Explore the islands roads and off road jungle paths the eco friendly way and you’ll be sure to spot a whole lot more of the islands bird and wildlife, as well as the leisurely local way of life! Cycling on the narrow roads with the towering jungle on one side and the open ocean on the other, is without a doubt, the best way to explore this tranquil island!

Get on board our private speed boat and set off to virgin beaches around Havelock island, cruise through the maze of channels and explore surrounding uninhabited islands! With our helpful boat men at hand, you can try snorkeling at the lesser known reefs, try a spot of fishing and even have a private beach picnic on a virgin island with our picnic hamper full of goodies and your own fresh catch!

Distance from the resort: 3 Km


The hub of activity on this lovely island is the small market at village #3. With everything from a supermarket to local handicraft shops & the local vegetable and fruit market! Vibrant in the evenings, it is a place for both locals and tourists to habitually gather for rounds of tea’s and sweet meats. The only 3 roads on the island, all converge at the market circle.

The entry and exit point of the islands, the jetty hosts small crowds at the time of arriving and departing ferries- tour operators, tourists and locals just turning up to witness the transits! The jetty has a number of small shops and ‘Dhabas’, as well as the Ferry ticket booking center and the Police Station.

The road heading west from the market circle, travels winding through unspoilt forest and past small villages to end at the world famous Beach #7! With an endless stretch of fine white sand, huge trees along the coastline and huge waves riding in from the sparkling turquoise ocean; Beach #7 compares to any beach from Costa Rica to Thailand!

Along the road to Beach #7, around 8 K.M through, one can park their two wheelers and set off on one of the islands best jungle trails, one that ends with a cooling rewarding- Elephant Beach!

An easy 45 minute walk, the trail is alive with birds, butterflies and reptiles. For elephant beach, we offer Snorkeling experiences and locals offer Glass bottom boat rides in the beautiful reef.

Further down the road from here, traversing along a road bordered with forest on one side and the ocean on the other, one reaches Kalapathar beach. With a lesser number of tourists, the beach is littered with beautiful shells. One can walk along the beach further down to find solitude and un spoilt beauty..

Past Kalapathar beach, find a relic and be transported to the pre-tourist era of Havelock Island. A 3 km stretch of road, bordered by the island's agriculture- rice, sugar cane and fresh organic vegetable - home to quaint huts and settlements. The architecture, the laid back atmosphere and the friendly kids are a reminder of what the entire island would have been like for 50 years, before the advent of tourism- a sleepy fishing hamlet.
