The Andaman Islands are a collection of Islands between India and Thailand. Untouched by time, the coastal ecosystem has evolved freely and now plays host to thousands of species of flora and fauna. A diverse range of ecosystems exists within these, ranging from coastal rainforests and old-growth forests to oceans and rocky coastal shores. These Islands have been home to people who have lived on them for more than 2000 years (check stone age). Explore the island’s history, wildlife, nature, and much more with a combination of activities we offer.

Cycle to the Farmers market

A morning adventure cycling through a peaceful, green village road and visit the Local Farmer and Fisheries market “Chouldhari Market”

Kayaking

Float in the Andaman Sea after the sun has set on this exceptional kayaking tour to experience the calm of the Andaman backwaters like never before. Spend two hours paddling on the backwaters of the dense Port Blair mangroves, to chirping of crickets, star gazing and pointing out constellations and be enchanted by the glowing bioluminescence –all of this combined gives you a memory of a lifetime!

Mount Harriett hiking

The highest peak in the South Andamans, greenery everywhere and a deep forest. One can see different birds from this point. From the top of the peak, enjoy a magnificent view of Port Blair, Ross Island and even Havelock Island.

Bird-watching and Nature walk

A nature trek and bird watching at Chidiyatapu beach or Sippighat jungle with an experienced guide and yummy Picnic basket

Shopping and market visit

A Port Blair city tour that includes Samudrika Museum, Anthropological Museum, Cellular Jail, Kalapani Museum, Sagarika (shopping emporium). We highly recommend the Sound and light show at Ross Island

Lime stone Cave visit

At Baratang Island. Amazing travel through dense rainforest, this area is home to one of the oldest stone age tribes in the world called the Jarawas. Arrive at Baratang then Limestone caves by boat, this ride is through dense mangrove forest, then visit the Mud Volcano in a jeep.

Sippighat Agriculture farm

A 5 minute drive from us, the Agricultural Research Institute, Sippighat farm is a 80 acre cultivated farmland for cultivation of spices like cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, coconut and pepper. A tremendous Orchid collection makes it a sight for sore eyes. Bring your sneakers and walk around to see the extensive collection of fruiting trees here. For ornithologists, a significant attraction on the farm is presence of various species of migratory birds.

Coral Island and Ross Islands

Visit Coral Island (North Bay) to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life. This is an ideal place for snorkeling as this sandy beach coupled with clear water creates a breathtaking spectacle.

Ross Island & Heritage tour

Ross Island, the former residential and administrative island of the British during their rule of South East Asia, was nick named the Paris of the East and walk through the Aberdeen heritage town.

Munjoh Seasons

The rainforests that dominate the landscape and ecosystem also drive the weather systems. While the region generally receives good rains that sustain its forests, in summertime the conditions are warm and dry, ideal for marine sports and beach activities, the monsoons make everything lush green & verdant & is an ideal time to enjoy these islands away from large crowds, cooler climes are ideal for coming on a special occasion and for well deserved rest and relaxation.
